Seva Bharati, Purbanchal organizing relief distribution works in the COVID19 pandemic in North Eastern Region of Bharat. During this Corona Virus Pandemic in all over world, the Govt. of India along with State Govt. declared Nationwide Lockdown to prevent community spread of Corona Virus. Due to this Lockdown, all type of exposure at outside restricted and people and their families instructed to stay at their home. All types of marketing, visiting outside, educational programme, social gathering are restricted. So, the common people are struggling for their daily food management along with other activities. For the complete lockdown, especially the poor people including daily wage labourer, small shopkeeper are facing problems of financial income to store Grocery and other Goods. In this present situation they need assistance to manage their daily food item. Seva Bharati Purbanchal with its one primary objective of Relief and Rehabilitation in Disasters, so, the organization come forward to distribute relief materials to the families along with other preventive measures and awareness in this lockdown crisis.
In this crisis, Seva Bharati Purbanchal with its possible resources and members, Karyakartas and volunteers along other associate organisations distributed several food materials and goods for sanitization in several places covering various districts of Assam. Seva Bharati Purbanchal also get relevant support from the local administration, which help to deliver the reliefs smoothly. The members and volunteers, collected the Food Materials and prepared packets of Rice, Daal, Salt, Oil, Vegetable, Soap, Sanitizer, Face Mask etc. in local places. With this packets, the Karyakartas reached to targeted family to provide food packets to maintain the restrictions and disciplines. In some places, volunteers worked to sanitize public places and houses and also worked to maintain social distancing with marking at public gathering places to prevent the community spread of the Corona Virus.
