Plastic pollution is not just an environmental issue. It’s a climate issue and also a human health issue. After banning uses of single use plastic bags in all over India, plastics are still being used for packaging, daily shopping in market places. Due to lack of an organized system for management of plastic waste, leading to widespread plastic waste across its towns and cities. So, this jute bag distribution programme might be beneficial to overcome the plastic waste pollution problem.
